Inaugural Metaverse Cohort at Realm Academy
Mission Impact team had the honor to be part of the first inaugural term at Realm Academy which offers a series of online courses about the metaverse and NFTs. Cathy Hackl serves as the Academy's Dean and the course was taught by metaverse and web3 pioneers like Tommaso Di Bartolo, Anne Connelly, Lily Snyder, Elizabeth Strickler, Artur Sychov.
Some of the topics covered at the course discussed:
How to set up a wallet and buy cryptocurrencies and NFT , The history of the metaverse and major players, The key components of the web3.0 ecosystem, Virtual real estate development principles, land sale dynamics, and tokenomics, Blockchain technology and crypto infrastructure behind the metaverse, How to engage in the NFT economy and find metaverse business opportunities.
NFT Access Badge
As an education platform on the metaverse and NFTs, Realm Academy’s tuition is in the form of an NFT Access Badge. Once students register for the Academy, they will learn how to create a Solana Phantom wallet, and subsequently receive the NFT Tuition Badge in order to access content and classes. Once students hold the NFT Badge in their Phantom wallet, they can connect to the website and watch the lectures while viewing the course resources.
